Robert Benchley, who won an academy award for his film short, "How to Sleep," was a frequent guest at The Garden. However, he always made a point of packing up every single one of his possessions when ever he checked out, because he didn't want to become too attached to any particular place.... Or, apparently, bungalow.

However, the management always gave him bungalow #16 whenever it was vacant. That was his favorite.
