They
evidently liked the wooden dock, but didn't like what was around it. No
problem, if you have someone willing to go through, frame-by-frame, and
rotoscope out the offending background and replace it with the desired oceanscape,
generating water spray in Lightwave to match the puddle the truck drove
through, and generating matching exhaust fumes the same way. Yes, it took
a long time, and cost someone a great deal of money, but I'm sure
it was still cheaper than shooting it somewhere else. Final composite in
Digital Fusion. |
